About me
Hi, I’m Monika.
I’m a psychologist and CBT psychotherapist. Before I became a therapist, I worked in transaction advisory — so I know the pace and pressure of expert and management roles first-hand.

How do I book an online session with a psychologist?
Choose a time in the calendar on this page. Booking takes about 2 minutes and the confirmation arrives by email straight away. You don’t need to describe what you’re struggling with when you book — we’ll talk about it at the first meeting.
What is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)?
CBT is one of the most thoroughly researched forms of psychotherapy. It helps you notice the links between thoughts, emotions and behaviour, and gradually change the patterns that make everyday life harder. I also draw on schema therapy and experiential techniques.
Is online therapy as effective as meeting in person?
Research shows that online CBT is comparably effective to face-to-face sessions. We meet over a secure video connection, so you can join from anywhere — all you need is a quiet space and a stable internet connection.
What happens at the first consultation?
It’s a 50-minute conversation about what brings you here, what your day-to-day life looks like and what you need. At the end, we decide together whether and how to start therapy.
Do you help with burnout and chronic stress?
Yes, it’s one of the main areas of my work. My background in transaction advisory helps me understand the realities of expert and management roles — the fast pace, the responsibility and the pressure to deliver. I also work with anxiety disorders and decision crises.
How long does therapy take and how often are sessions?
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place once a week. How long therapy takes depends on your goals — with CBT it’s most often anywhere from a few months to over a year. We review your progress together regularly.
Do you offer therapy in English?
Yes. I run online sessions in English and in Polish, so you can choose whichever language feels more comfortable — a good fit for expats and international professionals.
How much does a session cost and how do I cancel?
The consultation and each therapy session cost 300 PLN for 50 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment — you’ll find the link in your confirmation email.
Do I need a referral?
No. You don’t need a referral or a diagnosis for private therapy. Just choose a time.
The first step can be a small one.
One online conversation, no commitment.
